100 Trees Project awarded CACF grant
100 Trees Project was awarded a CACF grant this year in support of their mission to tackle climate change on the North Shore by transforming urban heat islands into shaded, usable spaces. Our funds will go toward maintaining trees the organization planted in Gloucester, ensuring they survive the varying weather New England is known for, for the next two to three years. Hear from 100 Trees co-founder Prataap Patrose about how the organization got its start, and learn more about their mission at 100treesproject.org.
