James Paradis: Founder
James a graduate of Holy Cross, retired from a career in retail business real estate, and pursued a second BA at Mass College of Art where he majored in painting. His paintings have been shown at galleries in Boston and Gloucester. James is “jardinair” and loves to tend to their 2 acres of woodlands and gardens in Folly Cove, in Gloucester.
Prataap Patrose: Founder and Director
Prataap is a graduate of MIT, specializing in architecture and city planning. A corporate trustee at the Trustees of the Reservation. He has worked for the city of Boston for over four decades in a range of capacities and currently is the senior advisor to the Chief of Planning. He is passionate about trees as both a metaphor for life, and our collective inter-dependence.
Eric Kreilick: Director and Secretary
Eric is a horticultural professional with a passion for public land conservation and a degree in horticulture from the Central Park Conservancy. He has overseen the stewardship of 2,000+ acres of conservation land, managing operations for organic farm and forests, serving a regional portfolio of gardening clients, and leading dynamic public environmental education and volunteer programs.
David Rosen: Director and Treasurer
David A. Rosen is the former Board Chair and currently Senior Advisor at LandVest He specializes in dealing with complex land-based properties, including land conservation transactions. David worked for the Central Park Conservancy and the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation as well as the National Park Service, and The Nature Conservancy. David is a member of the Gloucester, MA Planning Board, and has a Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from Harvard University.
